Invitations that Announce Your Bachelorette Party

Once you have decided you will be throwing a party for your bachelorette friend, the first place to start is the invitations. The party you give needs to be one that the bachelorette will always remember and you want everyone to have a lot of fun. There is probably more leeway in your party planning than you might think. Hiring a male stripper or bar hopping is just one way to go with the party. If you do decide to make your party 'naughty', this is something that needs to be spelled out on the invitation.

To design your invitation there are a few things to keep in mind. First you will need to choose the theme of your party event. For instance, you could take your group on a trip to Las Vegas or someplace equally exciting. This would be a weekend of bonding with friends at a luxury hotel. Another way to go with your party is having the group spend the night together at someone's home. This can be a night of acting like teens again with movies, telling little stores about each other and lots of popcorn.

Whatever you decide to do; your invitations need to reflect the theme of the party so your guests will come prepared. When choosing the theme of your party, taking into consideration the personality of your bride to be is most important. If she would find male strippers or lots of drinking outside of her comfort zone then planning a different kind of party would be best.

Once you have made your choice of a theme for your bachelorette party, the next decision is who you will invite. This may have a lot to do with the activities of your party. If your party will be really wild then inviting the family is possibly not the best plan. Letting the in-laws see the bachelorette inebriated is probably not the best way for her to start her new relationship with them. The bridal shower is a good place for relatives.

Along with the theme and who to invite, you will need to choose a date on which you will hold the party. It is not necessary to have the party the week of the wedding. Actually it would be better if you did not plan your party too close to the wedding day. A week or two prior to the wedding day will give the bachelorette a chance to relax and have fun without the pressures of the wedding planning that she will be feeling closer to the actual wedding day. You might want to harmonize your bachelorette party with the bachelor party.

The last thing to remember is that the invitations should be in the mail in plenty of time before the event. The closer the wedding gets, the more hectic everyone's schedule becomes so you want the invitations to reach your guests before they commit to another obligation.
