When your friend is about to be married
the customary thing is to celebrate by having a party for her. It
is her last night to party as a single lady. Traditionally the bridal
party, which is the maid of honor and the bridesmaids, are responsible
for throwing the bachelorette party for the bachelorette. This is
a kind of rite of passage for the bride to be who will be leaving
the status of 'single lady' and entering into the new status of
'married lady'. This is an important night for the bride to be so
it needs to be a very fun and memorable event.
The time honored ritual of the bachelorette party usually involves
a trip out of town. This usually includes drinking and a very late
night on the town. The bride to be is always meant to be the star
for the evening and should wear something that will make her stand
out in the group. There are other ways to celebrate, actually many
other ways of celebrating and the desires of the bride to be should
determine the type of party you throw for her. She may be thrilled
about a night on the town dancing and drinking or she might really
prefer a day being pampered at the spa with her closest friends.
Once the guest of honor has been consulted and the type of party
has been decided, it is now a matter of considering the time it
will take to prepare the guest list and most importantly the budget.
If the party will be at someone's home, then the party decorations,
drinks, snacks and the party games will be a big consideration.
Today's bachelorette party has come to mean a weekend away with
friends. If this is the direction you will take then the budget
is a big consideration which will determine the number of days,
guests and lodging that will be comfortable or possible. Be very
sure to define how the things will be paid for and who will be in
charge of this part of the party plans. No matter what the budget
allows, there are a lot of opportunities to make a really memorable
party experience.

get-a-way for the weekend is great fun in Las Vegas. You know the
saying, "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas." Probably
this is not within your budget. If not, then you might be able to
visit a friend or a relative who lives in a nearby area. A free

planning. This will afford you the opportunity to get away and still
